Wearing your jewelry:
A natural property of sterling silver is that the metal, when exposed to air will tarnish; more so with some peoples body oils than others. Normal everyday wear and body chemistry may cause the sterling silver to blacken or “Tarnish”. This is a reaction of the metal with your own body chemistry and will help to personalize each piece, and make it your own. Please be aware that perfumes and scented oils can also play a role in silver metal discoloration.
In order to keep your jewelry looking as wonderful as the day you received it, we recommend storing your jewelry in the plastic bag the piece came in, even if you keep your jewelry in a jewelry box.
The best and easiest jewelry cleaner we have come across is Wrights Silver Paste, which can be purchased in your local grocery market or retail shopping mart. We recommend ONLY using a paste cleaner, because many other cleaners can significantly alter the look of the metal.
All beaded items need occasional maintenance. Depending on how often a piece is worn, restringing may be needed to maintain the pieces durability. Also, due to the nature of leather, one may need to adjust the knots or replace the leather as needed.
Stone colors:
We have made the best efforts to represent our colors accurately, but the color calibration of computer monitors can vary considerably. Therefore there may be variations between the colors displayed on your monitor and the actual color of the items you are buying, particularly gems which naturally vary in shape, size and color. In addition, different “parcels” of stones can vary in color, shade, shape and texture. This is what makes nature so beautiful.
Some of the items for sale on this site are quantity limited. These items will be clearly noted.
We accept cashier's checks, money orders and payment made through PayPal. All orders are shipped once payment is received and successfully processed.
Shipping:
At the current time, we only ship with the United States, and unfortunately do not ship to PO boxes. All packages will be sent UPS. Packages are always automatically insured and require a signature confirmation upon delivery. Please allow up to 10 days for delivery (depending on your shipping choice). If there will be a delay in shipping on our end, we will notify you. Please be sure you have provided us with your correct shipping address, email address and telephone number.
As required by law, shipments made to Connecticut addresses will be charged 6% sales tax.
Gift boxes are available and free of charge. Please be sure to check the Gift Box Logo if one is needed.
Available items purchased directly through this website are usually shipped within 3-5 days of purchase (subject to change during periods of high volume). You will receive an email at the time we ship your order. If you've requested items that are temporarily sold out, your order may take a few weeks to ship depending on the style of the piece and gemstones available.
We want you to love your jewelry. In the unlikely event you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return your items (unless otherwise noted) as long as they are postmarked within 7 days of receipt of your order for store credit/exchange only – no refunds will be issued. Items must be returned in unworn, original condition (with all tags still attached), carefully packed, and shipped prepaid via traceable method. We are not responsible for – nor issue refunds on – returns lost in shipping if shipping via non-traceable method or postmarked beyond the 7-day return period. Shipping fees are not refundable and will not be included in the store credit/exchange.
